JUST A BIT

About Me

I was born in Massachusetts and grew up moving around quite a bit—from Germany to New York, Alaska, and California—thanks to being a military brat. Moving around so much wasn’t always easy, but it taught me early how to adapt, connect with different people, and roll with whatever life threw my way. Those lessons have stuck with me and shaped how I navigate my fast paced career in marketing and events.

My parents, Clarence and Hope, have been married for over 40 years. Watching their steady partnership and the kindness they share has been one of the most important influences in my life. They taught me that success is about more than just goals—it’s about how you treat people and the relationships you build along the way.

Sports have always been a constant thread in my story. Growing up, I played everything from soccer and baseball to football and basketball. Even when I was the new kid at school, sports felt like a universal language—an instant way to connect and build bonds with others. Being part of a team taught me grit, dedication, and the importance of showing up for those around you. Later in life, I had the privilege to coach football at the elementary, middle, and high school levels—a role that’s brought me as much joy as it’s given me a deeper appreciation for mentorship and the strength of community.

Creativity has been a constant companion as well. As a kid, I started building Pokémon websites on Geocities—a first dive into digital content that sparked a lasting passion. That creative drive stayed with me, eventually leading me to run an automotive vlog combining my love of cars with storytelling and media.

One of the moments that truly set me on this path happened in eighth grade, when I got to job shadow Rob Martin, the VP of Marketing for the Seattle Sonics. Seeing the energy and creativity behind the scenes sparked a passion for marketing and sports that has driven me ever since.

I graduated Cum Laude from St Martins University with a degree in Business and Communications, after studying sport management at Washington State University. While there, I supported the track and field team by managing event logistics—a role that gave me hands on experience with coordination and operations that I still draw on today.

Family remains at the heart of everything I do. I’m married to my college sweetheart Miranda, who runs an interior design business called Center Peace Interior Design. Helping her with marketing—from building her website to managing social media and handling photography—has been a rewarding way to combine my skills with her creative vision.

Together, we’re raising two wonderful kids, Jaycee and Jayden, who keep us busy and inspired. Our dog Oakley keeps us active with daily walks and endless energy. When I have time to myself, you’ll find me cheering at my kids’ volleyball or soccer games, chasing a golf ball, enjoying concerts and sporting events with my family, or diving into my passion for cars.

At the end of the day, I believe success comes from respect, passion, and staying true to your purpose. Whether behind the scenes or in front of a crowd, I strive to build authentic connections and craft experiences that leave lasting impressions.
